Groups

Each child will receive his/her own mixed gem bag, guaranteed to contain a good double-hand-full of various gemstones. A knowledgeable member of our staff will be dedicated to your group to teach about gems and minerals and answer all your individual questions.

To supplement the learning experience, your group may have a gold panning demonstration and a presentation about North Carolina’s gold history if requested in advance. 


Picnic tables are available on site for lunches.
Pizza may be ordered for delivery from Pizza Hut.

Birthday Parties

Bring the kids to us and we’ll show them a great time. Combine clean fun with a learning experience for your party. For one low price, each guest will receive one mixed gem bag and the birthday child will receive a special gift from our trading post.

School Groups

Your students can experience the thrill of finding their own gemstones, and learn about the vast geological resources in N.C. They will learn how to identify gemstones, and where they are found within the state.
